My name is Kusnanto, I come from Indonesia, major in Mass Communication, I have been studied 3 years in Tzu Chi University.
Further study should be a dream of most people, but because of economic situation or worry about a new environment. In fact, you don’t have to worry about it. For my personal experience, the problems can be overcome in Tzu Chi University. How can I say like that? First of all, school will provide scholarship that special for foreign student. The second school also has a lot of work opportunities. As long as their own hard work, the economy can be resolved.
Don’t be afraid to leave their hometowns to the new environment. Our university has a "Office of International Affair" specifically to help overseas students to deal with some problems. The school also has an “International Student Club”, will be held regularly activities, mainly in the compassionate international students, so that foreign students can have the feeling of home.
On the other hand, in mass communication, we also have 'student service learning' team. The team includes TCU NEWS, Broadcast team, and also go to partial country for giving them some knowledges that we have studied. Broadcast team and also service learning to partial country, I think the teams can let me learn the most and had a great opportunity to service others. Broadcast team is a team that have many opportunities for learning, for example we can try a lot of different Broadcast roles in every task, every role have their own professional that we can learn it, this is the learning process. In addition, for service learning to partial country, we can get closer with children or training ourselves in the process.
Nama saya Toto dari Indonesia sekarang semester ke-5 di jurusan ilmu komunikasi .
Saya rasa studi di luar negeri adalah impian kebanyakan orang, tapi mungkin karena kondisi ekonomi ataupun harus beradapatasi dilingkungan asing sehingga timbul rasa ketakutan di dalam hati. Sebenarnya tidak perlu khawatir, dalam pengalaman saya semua itu dapat diatasi.
Permasalahan ekonomi. Pertama universitas memberikan beasiswa kepada mahasiswa yang mempunyai nilai yang bagus ,penghargaan untuk juara kelas dan juga subsidi lainnya. Kedua, ada banyak kesempatan kerja-studi di universitas kami.
Jangan takut untuk meninggalkan rumah dan harus beradaptasi dilingkungan baru. Universitas memiliki departemen bernama "Office of International Affair" untuk membantu mahasiawa luar negeri. Universitas juga memiliki klub yang bernama “siswa internasional” yang sering mengadakan kegiatan, tujuannya untuk mengkohesi mahasiswa luar negeri.
Jurusan kami memiliki berbagai macam kurikulim professional selain itu, kami memiliki " Service & Learning ". Tim ini dibagi menjadi 3 bagian: tim berita , tim broadcast serta tim “tong zai yi qi”. Saya berpartisipasi dalam tim broadcast dan tim tong zai yi qi saya rasa tim Service & Learning adalah jalur paling cepat untuk belajar dan mandapatkan pengalaman. Tim Broadcast, kami dapat mencoba banyak peran yang berbeda di tim ini seperti peran sebagai fotografer, asisten direktur, dan program direktur. Setiap karakter memiliki profesional mereka sendiri sehingga kita dapat belajar yang banyak dari tim ini ,
tim tong zai yi qi adalah tim untuk mengajar anak SD dan SMP tentang ilmu komunikasi baik teori maupu teknik , sehingga sebelum kita melakukan pengajaran ke anak-anak , kita harus mempunyai persiapan yang cukup dan dalam proses persiapan kita sendiri akan dapat belajar yang lebih banyak.
